MCMC to improve Internet connection in Sabahan student’s village after video of her studying in a tree goes viral

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is taking action to improve Internet connectivity at Kampung Sapatalang in Pitas, Sabah after a student posted a video of her having to spend a day in a tree just to get stable Internet connection as part of an effort to complete her university examinations online.

MCMC in a statement to LifestyleTech said it has visited Kampung Sapatalang for observation on June 15 after Veveonah Mosibin's video was uploaded on YouTube and users began sharing her story widely on social media.
