Cybersecurity researchers have found a vulnerability in Thunderbolt ports that could allow criminals to hack into a locked computer in under five minutes, in person.
Apple Insider reported that the vulnerability, dubbed ‘Thunderspy’, allowed a hacker with physical access to the victim’s computer to bypass a computer's security measures using commonly available equipment, even if it was locked or its hard drive was encrypted.
