To discover if one of its Linux-based systems has any vulnerabilities, Microsoft created a challenge that invites researchers to try to hack the IoT security solution and, if someone succeeds, they win US$100,000 (RM432,450).

Microsoft's Azure Sphere, a Linux-based IoT security solution which the company describes as a "comprehensive IoT security solution delivering end to end security across hardware" was designed to be impossible to hack, and to be sure that statement is true, Microsoft is inviting people to do just that: to hack the platform before the bad guys do.
