Celcom introduces Voice over LTE (VoLTE), enabling calls over 4G networks that allow uses to make clearer calls while continuing to surf the Web. — Celcom

Celcom is rolling out Voice over LTE (VoLTE), which enables better quality calls using data that don’t interrupt access to data for other apps.

VoLTE calls are made over Celcom’s 4G network, thus the telco states that the calls are “free” as they do not take up traditional call time. However, users will still have to pay the normal voice tariff fees if it comes bundled with their mobile plan.
