You may suddenly find that when you open the Chrome browser, Microsoft's Bing search engine has been installed as the home page even though you haven't changed any of the settings.

Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus is probably the culprit, as it's either running on your computer or has just been installed. Since version 2002, an extension for Microsoft Search in Bing is installed as the default search engine for Chrome.
