Apple’s new iOS 13 update is bad news for iPhone 6 users

Apple has showcased a preview of iOS 13, an upcoming software update for Apple devices at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in the United States. The update brings new features like the system-wide Dark Mode, Portrait Lighting adjustment on the camera app and Maps with richer details and more road coverage.

The company announced that iOS 13 is currently available to members on the Apple Developer Programme. All users can sign up for the public beta programme next month at beta.apple.com, with new software features expected to be available later this year.

However, iOS 13 is bad news to some Apple iPhone users as not all models are eligible for the software upgrade. Basically, users with non-compatible devices will have to upgrade to a newer model if they want to use iOS 13.
