Nokia’s ‘banana’ phone can now use WhatsApp


Retro feature phone Nokia 8110 – better known as the 'banana' phone – finally supports messaging service, WhatsApp in Malaysia. — HMD Global

Retro hipsters will finally be easier to contact, now the the Nokia 8110, or more commonly known as the "banana phone", supports WhatsApp locally. 

HMD Global, the manufacturer of phones under the Nokia brand, announced that the phone now supports the messaging app, which is available for download in its store.
