Mozilla has launched a free password manager app for Android called Firefox Lockbox.

The standalone app lets users access passwords stored in their Firefox browser, allowing them to quickly open any website and get into their accounts.

To get started, users need to sign in to a Firefox browser using the same account they use for the Lockbox app.

According to Tech Crunch, Lockbox is “nowhere as developed as password managers like 1Password, Dashlane, LastPass”, because it lacks the ability to let users add, edit or delete passwords.
