Apple has recently relegated the iPhone 5 model to the "vintage and obsolete" product category.
This means that the company has stopped hardware support service for customers with the iPhone 5. It also states that service providers cannot order parts for the product. In other words, Apple will no longer be able to repair the device for you if you're still holding onto one.
