Instagram will show more recent pictures in users’ feeds

People complained and the folks at Instagram listened.

One of the biggest complaints about Instagram is its refusal to show your timeline feed in a chronological order. We want to know what people are doing now, not what they did three days ago!

To make matters worse, it was recently discovered that the feed automatically refreshes and bumps the viewers to the top of the page without prior notice.
