Opera has come up with some handy features that make the latest version of the browser even more pleasant to use.

In version 51 these now include a quick return to the top of a web page without scrolling all the way back up with the mouse wheel. All that's needed is a simple click on the tab of the respective page to jump back to the top.

If the side-by-side display of tabs has always been too unmanageable for you or made you accidentally close a tab, Opera will now allow you to display all open or recently closed tabs in a vertical list. There's a new button at the top right of the address bar to check out the lists.

Videos on web pages can now be moved to so-called pop-out windows, the size of which can be freely adjusted. They'll also always remain in the foreground, allowing you to watch a video and surf at the same time. To keep the original page of the video from getting lost, there's a "Back to tab" button at the top of the video window that will take you straight back to the page. — dpa
