unifi TV has 10 new channels, which will be free for all users until end of March - Unifi

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) has added 10 new channels from Fox Networks Group Asia (FNGA) to its Unifi TV service.

The new offerings double the selection of Fox Networks channels on Unifi TV to include Fox Life, Fox, FX, Fox Movies, Fox Action Movies, Fox Family Movies, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, BabyTV and Sky News.

Unifi TV executive vice president Jeremy Kung said the inclusion of the 10 new channels solidifies its partnership with FNGA and would strengthen service's content offerings with more sought after programmes.

"With content that covers same-day series, award-winning programmes and more of fan favourite channels like Fox Life, Fox Movies and National Geographic, Unifi TV subscribers will have plenty of entertainment options for the perfect family and individual moments," he said in a press statement today.

Among the programmes to be added are The Walking Dead, The Voice, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Masterchef, American Crime Story, Genius plus movies like Captain America: Civil War, Beauty And The Beast, and Power Rangers.

“This is also in line with the many firsts Unifi has launched: such as Unifi TV’s first live interactive gameshow Teka Tekan, the landmark Unifi sponsorship of Liga Malaysia that comes with live matches of the league on Unifi TV, as well as the first mobile product Unifi Mobile,” added Kung.

Fox Networks Group senior vice president (territory head of Malaysia & Singapore) Vineet Puri said their expanded partnership with TM was a landmark moment and cements FNGA’s commitment to providing Malaysian fans with access to high quality content.

In conjunction with Unifi TV's rebranding from HyppTV, the 10 newly added FNGA channels would be available for a limited time to all subscribers until March 31, after which the channels could be accessed by those subscribed to unifi TV’s Jumbo Pack.

Unifi TV currently has 115 channels with 65 channels in HD (high definition). These consist of 63 premium channels, 25 free channels, seven Video-On-Demand (VOD) channels, 18 interactive channels and two Radio channels, available through a variety of packages.
