Google is making it easier than ever to shop for products online with a new search ad format that shows product images and other useful product information directly in Google Search results.

Google has launched a new image-based ad format which gives more visibility to e-commerce sites, with the intention of making online shopping a more visual experience.

The Google Shopping Ads display images of the products searched alongside useful information and links to the merchants selling those items. This is an addition to the existing text based ads, which Google believes will benefit shoppers and merchants alike.
