CES 2017: Qualcomm gets rolling with new Snapdragon mobile processor

Qualcomm unwrapped its latest integrated mobile processor chip on Jan 3 – the Snapdragon 835, which aims to deliver faster speeds and longer battery life to smartphones and other mobile gadgets without adding bulk to the devices. 

The news from the San Diego wireless chip giant came as part of an avalanche of product announcements coming out of CES 2017, a massive consumer electronics trade show that opens Jan 5 in Las Vegas.
