Vivo has launched the V70 FE, a midrange smartphone featuring a 6.83in Amoled screen capable of up to 120Hz refresh rate.
The device is equipped with a dual-camera setup, consisting of a 200-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter. It also has a 32-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera on the front.

There is also an Underwater Mode that can be enabled for taking photos while the device is fully submerged.
However, Vivo says not to use the feature at depths deeper than 1.5 metres and for no more than 30 minutes at a time, after which users should follow the recommended steps to properly dry the device.
Under the hood, the V70 FE has a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor powered by a 7,000mAh battery, which the company says provides up to 43.8 hours worth of YouTube playback on a single charge.

Other features of the device include both IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, artificial intelligence-powered image editing tools, and the promise of six years' worth of security updates.
Pre-orders for the Vivo V70 FE are open until April 17, with the device available in Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Urban Silver.
Those interested can choose from three storage configurations: 16GB RAM with either 256GB (RM1,599) or 512GB (RM1,999) internal storage, and 24GB RAM with 256GB storage (RM1,799).

Customers who pre-order the device will be entitled to up to RM1,256 worth of free goodies, including a Vivo Buds Air3 (worth RM129) and the V Selection Watch V3 (RM129), along with a 365 Days Vivo Care Extended Warranty and 180 Days Vivo Care Screen Protection. There is also an RM100 rebate during this period.
