HURDLES GALORE: There is no guarantee that Tsinghua Unigroup's bid for Micron will be allowed to proceed given the number of regulatory and security obstacles it faces.

Micron Technology Inc forecast current-quarter revenue and profit above estimates as a stabilising PC market spurs demand and boosts prices of its memory chips.

Shares of the company, which also posted its first rise in quarterly revenue in nearly two years, were up about 10% at US$22.55 (RM100.92) in after-market trading on Dec 21.
