The unveiling of Huawei’s MateBook in Barcelona, Spain, was too orderly to be called a frenzy. But so enthusiastic were a few foreign journalists present, that they had no qualms with unceremoniously plucking the stylus (Huawei calls it the MatePen) out of the hand of the gentleman tasked with demonstrating a nifty feature on the new 2-in-1 tablet, to finish his sketch.

The air of excitement at the Montjuïc Exhibition Centre, where the launch was held, was indeed palpable, even a day before the four-day annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) kicked off.
