Reason to play: In movies like Pixels, knowledge of video games can help save the world, or part of it.

Hutcherson, who co-starred in The Hunger Games films and has a pair of James Franco films on his slate (The Disaster Artist, The Long Home), is to feature in Hulu TV show pilot Future Man as Josh Futturman, a cleaner at a sexual health centre who's chosen to spearhead a time-travelling, world-saving exercise, despite his obvious failings in other areas.
