Microsoft Surface Pro runs on Intel's 3rd-generation Core i5 processor with 4GB of RAM
Microsoft has just announced a recall to replace the power cords for the Surface Pro, Surface Pro 2 and certain Surface Pro models due to overheating concerns.
Apparently, some of these cables that were shipped were wound too tightly and caused the internal wiring to be twisted or pinched over time, resulting in the overheating issues.
