Movie fever: Films which will be available via the streaming partnership are said to include the comedy Fifty Shades Of Black.

Amazon has inked a deal Open Road Films which will see Amazon Prime subscribers allowed access to exclusive movies via streaming. (via Deadline)

The partnership will see Amazon offer select Open Road titles on the distribution company’s 2016 slate, from 2017.

Films which will be available via the streaming partnership are said to include the comedy Fifty Shades Of Black, action-thriller Triple 9 and romantic comedy Mother’s Day. Also available will be action-thriller Sleepless Night, Bleed For This, and the animated family film Blazing Samurai.

The news follows a hint from Amazon in January that the company would soon be getting into the film business by producing and acquiring movies. — AFP Relaxnews
