Update: TM confirms that it detected a "service related issue" at 4.30pm, in a statement. It restored the connection at about 6.30pm and its technical team continues to monitor the situation.

TM’s twitter channel is being flooded by complaints from users having trouble connecting to the Internet using the telco’s Unifi and Streamyx services.

Most users seem to suffer from constant disconnection or slow surfing speeds, and it seems to affect mostly users in the Klang Valley and Sarawak.

At this point it’s not clear what is causing the problem but the company has tweeted that all Unifi user??s may experience difficulty in surfing to both local and international sites.

We contacted TM but it says that the technical team is still investigating the issue and is unable to give further info.

Digi and Maxis have confirmed that their networks are not experiencing any connectivity issues.

Stay tuned for more updates.
