Have you tried PlaysStation Plus before? If not this might be a great opportunity to do so as we’ve tied up with Sony Hong Kong to offer free subscriptions to PSN Plus.

So what do you get with PSN Plus? In case you don’t already know, PSN Plus is Sony’s premium service for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. That’s one unified account and one price to pay to connect all your Sony consoles to PSN Plus.

At its most basic, a PSN Plus subscription is required if you want to engage in some multiplayer co-operative gameplay with friends or family who also own a Sony console.

However, there’s really a lot more to PSN Plus than just co-op -- every month, Sony offers a number of free games for each console.

These free games are not just limited to classic games, but also to some current games as well and are yours to play as long as your PSN Plus membership is active.

For the month of January, Sony is offering InFamous First Light, which is a standalone downloadable content for the acclaimed InFamous: Second Son and The Swapper, an award-winning narrative-driven puzzle game, for PlayStation 4.

On the PS3, the free games for January are Resident Evil: Revelations and The Swapper. Originally appearing on portable consoles, the high-definition, remastered edition of Resident Evil: Revelations is the game in the long-running series that many say is one of the best.

On PS Vita, you get The Swapper and Titan Attacks! an arcade-style shooter which should appeal to gamers who like bullet-hell style games.

Apart from free games, PSN Plus also offers seasonal sales and monthly discounts on games.

For hardcore gamers, there are a few more features that makes a PSN Plus subscription more attractive.

For one thing, PSN Plus allows gamers to upload their game saves and trophies online so you never lose your game saves and trophies even if you upgrade the hard disk on the console.

More importantly, with PSN Plus you can set your console to automatically download and install firmware updates for the console as well as game patches.

GAME ON: The Swapper is one of the games PSN Plus members can get for free this month. You can get it for free too if you join our contest.
PSN Plus normally costs RM43 for a three-month subscription but if you join our contest you stand to win them for free. All you have to do is tell us which of the games being offered this month that you want to play and why in less than 25 words.

Entries must be sent via private message to our Facebook Inbox (www.facebook.com/techcentral) with full name, MyKad number and contact info.

To qualify, you must also be a fan of our page and share the story on Facebook. The contest ends on Jan 27 -- we are only giving you one week to enter the contest so that you will have time to grab the games for January. So don’t wait.

The winners will be notified via e-mail or Facebook. For the full terms and conditions, check out on.fb.me/LXD9mn.
