Ricoh Malaysia showcased its D5500 Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) and P3000 Unified Communication System (UCS) for offices.
The IWB is a high-resolution virtual whiteboard with a 55in full HD LCD display (1,920 x 1,080-pixels) with durable Gorilla Glass screen.
You can write, draw and scribble smoothly and quickly using the handy electronic pen which glides effortlessly across the screen. Information written on it can be permanently wiped off once the whiteboard is switched off.
It’s also possible for devices such as the PC, iPad, tablet or smartphones to connect to the IWB, and content can be shared with up to four similar devices within a network but it works best with Ricoh’s UCS.
The UCS is a video conferencing device which provides real-time audio and video communications. The main feature of the P3000 is support for multi-site connections (up to 20 locations) with video output at 1,280 x 800-pixel resolution.
The P3000, which weighs less than 1.6kg, works with both wireless and wired networks and can also interface with Cloud-based communications which makes it easy to set up.
Ricoh expects to announce the prices soon.
