BRASILIA: Clothing retailer C&A has found an innovative use for Facebook “likes,” placing real-time information about the number of “likes” each item receives on the hangers of various garments throughout retail locations in Brazil.

The idea behind the scheme is to provide customers with further information on the product and its popularity by displaying data on how many other people think that it is a good purchasing decision.
