ABN taps Fibrecomm as backbone network partner

PETALING JAYA: Asian Broadcasting Network (Malaysia) — the country’s first digital cable TV network — has appointed Fibrecomm Network (Malaysia) as its first backbone network service provider to roll out its last-mile fibre-optic cable to homes.

Under the agreement, Fibrecomm will be providing ABN with high-speed bandwidth connectivity and its co-location facilities to house ABN’s network equipment.
