Intel acquires Israeli mobile navigation firm Telmap

TEL AVIV: Chipmaker Intel Corp has agreed to acquire mobile navigation software maker Telmap, the chief executive of the Israel-based company said.

Details of the deal were not disclosed but Israeli media said Intel is paying about US$300mil to US$350mil (RM900mil to RM1.05bil).
