Social networking site for Muslims

PADANG (Sumatra): The Indonesia-based social networking site specially for the Muslim community, CMnet, is becoming increasingly popular since it went online on Aug 6, said the Antara news agency.

CMnet, which can be accessed at, is the first social networking site for Muslims in Indonesia.

“It has 3,700 members and not only from Indonesia but other countries as well, including the United States, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Egypt, Kuwait, and some European countries,” its founder, Dolla Indra, 25, said.

The site had been visited 5,894,954 times, as at press time. — Bernama
