KUALA LUMPUR: The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) has received 217 complaints from the public regarding fake e-mail messages on tax refunds since July 21.
Its chief executive officer, Tan Sri Hasmah Abdullah, said that from investigations conducted, the e-mail messages were sent by phishing websites.
