INTERACTIVE: Salaries in Malaysia are healing from pandemic, but at different rates


Last year, 93% of Malaysian bosses gave their workers a raise, says the Malaysian Employers Federation. But salaries in each job and industry are recovering at different rates after taking a hit from the pandemic.

AS Malaysia continues to bounce back and cope with Covid-19, so are worker’s salaries, after taking a hit from the pandemic.

Overall, most Malaysian workers are receiving bigger pay cheques now than during the height of the outbreak in 2020.
