Malaysia’s largest B2B agriculture technology exhibition returns at Mitec


Agri Malaysia brings together a diverse range of industry leaders, including hundreds of key agricultural manufacturers, brands and trade buyers from across the Asean region.

Malaysia’s largest B2B agriculture technology exhibition, the Malaysia International Agriculture Technology Exhibition (Agri Malaysia), is poised for a triumphant return for its eighth edition – with more than 13,000 agriculture professionals from across the globe expected to converge in Kuala Lumpur.

The largest of its kind, the highly anticipated exhibition will take place from Sept 11 to 13 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec), Kuala Lumpur.

Under the theme “Futuristic Innovates Agriculture”, Agri Malaysia has grown into the region’s plantation solutions platform, addressing the full spectrum of the agriculture, plantation commodities and horticulture industries.

This year’s edition will bring together 450 exhibitors across 650 booths, featuring over 900 local and international brands, alongside an estimated 13,000 trade visitors from 18 countries worldwide. 

For the first time, Agri Malaysia is proud to receive official support and participation from the Agriculture and Food Security Ministry (MAFS), the Plantation and Commodities Ministry and their respective agencies.

Further strengthening its international footprint, Agri Malaysia 2025 will feature dedicated country pavilions from South Korea, China, Taiwan and India, underscoring the exhibition’s role as a catalyst for global agricultural exchange and collaboration.

With expanded exhibition halls, this year’s programme highlights include:

> AgriTalk – more than 60 free-to-attend seminars featuring local and international experts from Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan, covering topics such as off-season durian farming, potential of coconut market, palm oil and Department of Agriculture’s initiatives on Malaysia Good Agriculture Practices (myGAP), myPesticide, GeoTanih, GeoTanaman certifications. 

> AgriDemo – live demonstrations of cutting-edge agricultural machinery, equipment and hardware.  

> AgriClinic – on-site consultations and analysis services for leaf, soil and water, guided by agronomists and technical experts. 

> AgriSmart – a dedicated Smart Farming Zone showcasing digital technologies including Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data Analytics (BDA), artificial intelligence (AI) and DroneTech.

> MPOB initiatives – planters can engage directly with the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) to learn about license applications and the registration process for Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) certification, strengthening compliance and industry standards. 

> Networking sessions – targeted engagement opportunities for farmers, growers, planters and industry stakeholders to foster strategic partnerships.

This year, Agri Malaysia shines a spotlight on four important industry segments – palm oil, durian, fruits and vegetables, and highland and lowland agriculture – giving every visitor a focused look at what matters most in Malaysia’s agriculture today.

Farmers, growers and planters visiting Agri Malaysia 2025 will walk away with more than just new knowledge – they’ll gain real opportunities to meet face-to-face with industry leaders, government agencies and international experts, enabling direct dialogue and immediate insights. 

Farmers and growers can also pick up practical techniques to improve yield and reduce costs, while planters will find guidance on compliance, certifications and government support.
