UOW Malaysia makes it to the top again

EVERY employer will select graduates who are well-rounded and better prepared for their workplace.

With the current challenges and demand in the job market, varsities and colleges need to think various ways on how to develop multiple skill sets and knowledge among their graduates to be successful in their chosen field, able to represent their reputable image and meet the expectations of the respective industry.

Higher learning institutions have to groom graduates to be more agile, have a solid understanding of how the workplace works and ensure their skills fit in.

In addition, these higher educational institutions have to prepare those graduates for the idea of moving across jobs and sectors, be versatile and open to various opportunities.

Keeping this to mind UOW Malaysia has continuously improved its standards to produce well-rounded graduates, who could meet the demand of the employers from various industries, which was clearly reflected in the recent survey by Talentbank.

UOW Malaysia is part of the University of Wollongong Australia’s global network, but has a long history of providing accessible, quality, tertiary education in Malaysia, and the surrounding regions, as KDU college and university colleges.

In November 2018, KDU entered into an agreement whereby UOW Global Enterprises, a wholly owned subsidiary of University of Wollongong Australia, acquired a controlling stake in the KDU university colleges and college.

Subsequently, in November 2019, the name of the college and university colleges were changed to reflect the stewardship of the University of Wollongong and are now known as UOW Malaysia.
