THE China (Guangdong) RCEP Malaysia Digital Economy Delegation came to J&T Warehouse for a study visit earlier this month on March 22, 2023.

J&T has experienced rapid growth since its entry into the Malaysian market in 2018 — boasting over 1,000 outlets across the country and even opening its very first J&T Warehouse in 2020.

This state-of-the-art facility provides customers with safe, professional storage and delivery services. During the study visit, China (Guangdong) RCEP Malaysia Digital Economy Delegation visited the J&T Warehouse’s operational area and learnt about logistic service flows. J&T Express Malaysia Gateway assistant manager Ng Yang Wei served as the tour guide.

GDeBA and RCEP Cross-border E-commerce Alliance secretary general Fiona Liu said: “E-commerce plays a vital role in developing the digital economy and is a key factor in facilitating business growth, especially for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

“Therefore, as businesses enter the Chinese market, economic and trade cooperation between China and Malaysia will become even closer, leading to greater e-commerce development opportunities,” she added.

Meanwhile, J&T Express Malaysia Regional Management manager Ong Wei Ho said: "We provide Malaysians with high-quality service — including 24/7 customer support and 365-day operation — to enhance customers' trust in us. Looking ahead, we remain hopeful and optimistic about the logistics and e-commerce growth of Malaysia and look forward to contributing as a key player.”

Launched in August 2018, J&T Malaysia continuously seeks to adapt its offering to cater to the needs of the local markets. From the provision of standard delivery service, the company has since expanded to now include services such as J&T VIP, J&T International Shipping, J&T Next Day Delivery and J&T Express Document.

At the same time, for cross-border business, J&T International Logistics — an international logistics brand under J&T — has also launched cross-border special lines, overseas warehouses and other services.
