Mah Sing extends NOW campaign to Dec 31

Mah Sing will be extending its Mah Sing NOW campaign following strong interest in the group’s project.

MAH Sing Group Berhad lauds the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) themed “A Prosperous, Inclusive, Sustainable Malaysia”, as the five-year development roadmap outlines the strategic direction and key initiatives for the country to revitalise its economy post-pandemic, ensure a fair and equitable distribution of the country’s prosperity, as well as preserve environmental sustainability.

The 12MP reflects the government’s commitment to provide quality and affordable housing for Malaysians, especially the B40 and M40 groups, which will see another 500,000 units of affordable homes built.

The government will also be enhancing financing facilities such as the Fund for Affordable Housing, Youth Housing Scheme and Rent-to-Own Programme to ensure the B40 and M40 groups are not burdened with instalment payments.

“We view the 12th Malaysia Plan positively as it emphasises on social welfare and protection of Malaysians as well as strengthening economic growth,” said Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum.

“This creates a conducive environment for the rakyat and local businesses to build a strong foundation for the next five years as the nation works towards ensuring sustainable and inclusive economic development for all Malaysians.

“For the property industry, the private sector can also echo the government’s initiative to offer more affordable homes to the B40 and M40, by playing our part to provide affordable homes in strategic locations with innovative layout which is appealing to the mass market.”

Driven by the reopening of more economic sectors under the National Recovery Plan and overwhelming interest towards the group’s projects, Mah Sing announced it will be extending its Mah Sing NOW campaign till Dec 31.

The campaign, in line with the national vaccination programme, offers a three-pronged approach for home buyers to enjoy “three doses” of home ownership boosters – Own Now, Zero Now and Save Now – for selected units in the participating projects across the nation.

“The high vaccination rate and the opening of sales galleries have provided a much-needed impetus to the property industry as we see clear interest in our projects and observed a significant increase in footfall at our sales galleries.

“Home buyers are actively making appointments to visit our sales galleries to scout for their ideal home. We are strongly encouraged by the positive feedback and this boosts our confidence to extend the Mah Sing NOW campaign to ensure that all interested home buyers will be able to enjoy the perks that we offer.

“Having said that, all our sales galleries implement stringent SOPs. As we equip our sales galleries with a 100% vaccinated workforce, we are committed to providing a safe environment for our customers, especially when we assist them in embarking on their exciting homeownership journey,” said Leong.

The Mah Sing NOW campaign was first rolled out in July, offering “three doses” of home ownership boosters via Maybank Islamic Houzkey.

The first “dose” is Own Now whereby the campaign provides easy entry for buyers – facilitating easy home financing with Maybank Islamic Houzkey.

This is followed by the second “dose”, Zero Now, which extends zero payments for buyers for downpayment, during construction, as well as legal fees on SPA and loan.

The third “dose” Save Now will see the campaign providing big savings with up to 50% off monthly payments and savings on MoT.

Additional cash incentives await buyers who can prove that they are vaccinated or have registered for vaccination.

“As the country progresses rapidly towards achieving 90% vaccination rate among the adult population, our economy’s recovery momentum is accelerating,” Leong added.

“We hope the government will provide additional catalysts to the industry and incentives for home buyers by introducing more property-friendly measures in Budget 2022.

“We also hope that the country’s borders will open up soon, with suitable guidelines for cross border economic activities to resume – emulating other countries which have successfully reopened for foreigners.

“This will increase the competitiveness of our country among the region and regain foreigners’ interest in our properties again, contributing to the revitalisation of the overall economy.”

The participating projects under the Mah Sing NOW campaign are in the Klang Valley, Johor and Penang.

In the Klang Valley, the projects are M Luna (Kepong), M Vertica (Cheras), M Adora (Wangsa Melawati), M Centura (Sentul), M Oscar (Off Kuchai Lama), M Arisa (Sentul), M Aruna (Rawang), Sensory Residence and Cerrado Suites @ Southville City (KL South).
