Celcom continues to support SMEs and micro-SMEs weathering the pandemic

PETALING JAYA: The Covid-19 pandemic and Movement Control Order (MCO) has created a challenging environment for local businesses, especially affecting small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Celcom Axiata Bhd (Celcom), in its ongoing commitment towards advancing societies, collaborates with various technology partners within its ecosystem, to bring innovative and affordable tools and solutions for business owners to sustain their businesses.

To help local SMEs in weathering the pandemic, Celcom is waiving the first three months subscription for its innovative one-stop SME digital kit, Celcom Business Suite.

Additionally, SMEs will continue to enjoy savings of 30% for one year under the SME digital matching grant, introduced by the government through the short-term economic recovery plan (Penjana).

Providing platform for SME growth through digital acumen

Meanwhile, Celcom together with its ecosystem partners have also been actively bridging local businesses and entrepreneurs through various platforms and resources.

Together with Pertubuhan Perintis Malaysia (MyPerintis) and Planet Mahir, Celcom has been extending its expertise in digital adoption through multiple programmes including webinars and online streaming channels.

These programmes aim to help SMEs and micro-entrepreneurs by creating relevant technology related awareness, knowledge sharing and digital skill enhancement programmes.

Similarly, Celcom together with Facebook Malaysia also initiated a webinar for SMEs within its ecosystem to further enhance their business capabilities in e-commerce.

Celcom Business Suite productivity pack offers Celcom InternetGO mobile internet of 15GB, Microsoft Office 365 Business Basic application and unlimited Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, and Webex quota.

Celcom’s new Business Suite booster pack, enables SMEs to seamlessly operate their businesses digitally with innovative digital solutions such as Mesinkira Basic, a lite contactless Point of Sales (POS) that manages inventories, transaction record and integrated with digital payment services like e-wallets, credit, and debit cards.
