PETALING JAYA: The move to form a national governing body for para swimming received the green light from the Malaysian Paralympic Council (MPC) during their annual general meeting.
A group of parents and swimming enthusiasts who wanted specific programmes and competitions for the athletes had mooted the idea of forming the Malaysian Para Swimming Association.
