Yasshmita wins Swiss Open Title 


PETALING JAYA: National squash player J. Yasshmita lived up to her top seed billing by clinching the Swiss Open title on Sunday (Oct 26). 

The 21-year-old displayed a commanding victory against sixth seed Ruqayya Salem of Egypt to win 11-5, 12-10, 11-7 at the Squash Arena in Uster. 

It was Yasshmita’s second win of the year after winning the Yokohama Open in Japan in April.
