PETALING JAYA: Malaysian squash player Yee Xin Ying made short work of Brazil's world No. 83 Margot Prow to seal a place in the final of the RC Pro Series Thompson Street Capital at St. Louis, United States.

The 21-year-old, who won bronze at the Under-23 World Championships in Karachi earlier this month, beat Margot 11-6, 11-7, 11-6 in 30 minutes in the semi-finals on Wednesday (April 16).

Xin Ying, currently ranked 77th in the world, will take on world No. 40 and top seed Lucy Beecroft of England for the chance to claim her first title for this year.

Beecroft had beaten compatriot Saran Nghiem 11-5, 11-7, 11-8 in the last four.
