PETALING JAYA: Malaysian squash queen Nicol David (pic) overcame a scare before checking into the semi-finals of the World Games in Poland.
The eight-time world champion, who is gunning for a fourth successive gold at the Games, ran into trouble against Belgium’s Nele Gilis before prevailing 11-9, 12-10, 11-7 in the quarter-finals in Wroclaw on Wednesday.
