PETALING JAYA: Low Wee Wern is in good spirits despite bowing out in the first round of the US$100,000 (RM413,000) Al-Ahram International squash championships in Cairo.
The former world No. 5, who is slowly returning to her best following an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury last year, gave Egyptian world No. 8 Omneya Abdel Kawy a tough fight before losing 8-11, 3-11, 16-14, 12-10, 6-11 in 48 minutes at the Giza Plateau on Monday.
