PETALING JAYA: National No. 2 Low Wee Wern exacted revenge on England’s Emma Beddoes in the first round of the Greenwich Open squash championships in New York on Friday.

Wee Wern, the world No. 6, was in her element as she bounced back to beat Beddoes 12-10, 10-12, 8-11, 11-3, 11-3. The Malaysian was surprisingly beaten by world No. 25 Beddoes in the first round of the Hong Kong Open last month.
