PETALING JAYA: World No. 1 Nicol David is on course for her second straight Women’s Squash Association (WSA) title after a robust and efficient performance en route to beating India’s Dipika Pallikal in the quarter-finals of the Carol Weymuller Open in Brooklyn, New York.
But there was no joy for national No. 2 Low Wee Wern, who failed to capitalise on her chances as she bowed out in straight sets to England’s world No. 2 Laura Massaro on Friday.
