KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 1 Nicol David and national No. 2 Low Wee Wern’s quarter-final date is on after the duo cleared their second round hurdles in the women’s event of the CIMB Malaysian Open at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil.

Seven-time world champion Nicol, bidding for her first Women’s Squash Association (WSA) title of the year, was just too strong for junior rival Omneya Abdel Kawy on Thursday.
