Elusive medal could be within range of Johnathan’s new pistol

PETALING JAYA: National shooter Johnathan Wong (pic) is hoping a switch to a new pistol will give him the edge he needs to finally end his Asian Games medal drought at the Aichi-Nagoya Games from Sept 19-Oct 4.

Malaysia’s shooting squad have endured a lean spell at the continental showpiece, failing to win a medal in the last two editions in Jakarta-Palembang (2018) and Hangzhou (2022).
