PETALING JAYA: Nur Suryani Taibi is so determined to take part in the National Shooting Championships that she turned up while running a fever.

But the 42-year-old not only win the 50m rifle-prone event at the National Shooting Range in Subang on Friday, she also equalled her national record of 596 points.
