Rugby Sevens team finish last


GLASGOW: The Malaysian rugby Sevens team have been on the receiving end in the Commonwealth Games. 

Malaysia, who were thrashed 52-0 by Wales and 36-7 by Papua New Guinea, wrapped up their final Group C match with further humiliation – getting hammered 54-0 by Samoa at the Ibrox Stadium late on Saturday evening.

Then, in the bowl competition on Sunday, Malaysia were whacked 35-0 by Uganda.

In the playoff for the 15th position, Malaysia lost 10-5 to Trinidad and Tobago to finish last in the 16-team competition.

Malaysia conceded 187 points in five matches and only managed to score 12 points.
