NSC: Budget 2027 shows sport is more than just winning medals and hosting events


PETALING JAYA: National Sports Council (NSC) director-general Jefri Ngadirin said the initiatives in the 2027 Budget, presented by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Friday, reflect a broader vision for sports in Malaysia.

Jefri stressed that the goal is not merely to chase medals or successfully host an event but to build a sustainable, inclusive and competitive sports ecosystem.
