KUALA LUMPUR: The Youth and Sports Ministry hope that the 2027 Budget, to be tabled today, will bring good news to the entire national sports community including athletes and coaches and boost the development of the sports ecosystem as a whole.

Their minister, Dr. Taufiq Johari, said the upcoming allocation is expected to further strengthen national sports development while ensuring that athlete welfare is prioritised not only during their active careers but also after retirement.
