Shoorendran eyes LA28, but funding holds the key

NATIONAL equestrian rider N. Shoorendran has set his sights on the Olympic Games and will meet sports officials to discuss funding and his qualification plans for the 2028 Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old believes his horse, Limelight AD, has what it takes to compete on the biggest stage after their steady performance in the Asian Games showjumping final (1.40m to 1.50m) at the JRA Equestrian Park in Setagaya Ward yesterday.
