PETALING JAYA: Karate exponent C. Shahmalarani has been one busy bee.

While juggling her studies, teaching career and commitments with the national team, the 27-year-old still found time to win a hattrick of SEA Games gold medals, claim three World Karate 1 Series A titles, take Asian Championships silver, finish runner-up at the World Championships – and even get married.
