Noor Askuzaimey savours world title on day of two special occasions


PETALING JAYA: National boccia athlete Noor Askuzaimey Mat Salim (pic) received the best wedding anniversary gift after she was crowned world champion in the BC4 women’s individual event at the World Championships in Seoul.

The historic success coincided with the country’s 69th Merdeka Day celebration, allowing the Negaraku song to be heard on South Korean soil.
